About Me

I'm no-one special, just a chap that has long been interested in food.  Growing it, cooking it, and eating it.  As a kid I was rad at turning Rice Risotto packets into huge meals for my family.  As a teenager I came top in 4th form Home Economics.  Later I learnt to enjoy beer, and wine alongside food — though I couldn't tell you diddly about how best to pair them up.  After growing tired of university I went to a culinary school for a year, which only did me a little good.  I've worked in a couple of pubs and in a fairly busy commercial kitchen preparing ready to eat meals.  But i'm no chef, and these days I only cook for myself and my friends.  But I like learning new dishes, and i'm not useless in a kitchen — so perhaps i've got something useful for you.
